Installations
(b. 1994 in Shanghai, China) completed his MA at the Royal College of Art in London and is a Merit Scholarship recipient at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (BA) in 2016
He makes installations, sculptures and paintings centred around cultural fluidity. By tracing the source of ideas, divisions, and contradictions back to their origins, he aims to tease out mechanisms that help these ideas plant themselves in our minds and bring the audience closer to the majesty of things that can often be overlooked. He employs ambiguity to reflect the blurred lines and inherent uncertainties of the way we communicate, advocating for a more straightforward and inclusive approach to how we express our inner selves, ideas, and stories within a wider community.
